How do I install the Second Shower?
Installation is tool-free and takes a few minutes. Unscrew your existing showerhead, fit the Second Shower, and tighten by hand. Everything you need is in the box.

Every 60 days for the Showerhead and every 30 days for the Showerhand, sooner if your water is hard or the window fills early. The window shows the sediment the sleeve has caught.

Usually the filter is due. Check the window: if the sleeve is dark, replace it. Then check that the filter is seated with no air pocket, and that you are using the original Second Shower hose rather than a third-party one.

Manage my subscriptionMy skin feels drier after switching. Is that normal?
It can happen for a few days to two weeks. Chlorinated water leaves a slippery film on skin; once it is gone, skin can feel tighter at first. Use warm rather than very hot water and a light moisturizer while it settles. In our two-week instrument-measured study, skin hydration rose 26.71 percent.
